Can you take naproxen to bring down swelling of a hemorrhoid?

You can try!: Naproxen is an oral anti-inflammatory, and happens to be one of the better ones at bringing down swelling (my opinion). The maximum dose is 1500mg per day in divided doses. I haven't heard of it being used for this purpose though.
