Why is it preferable to take calcium and magnesium supplements with vitamin d3 when you have d deficiency ? what the 2 do for vitamin d?

Vitamin D helps: calcium go to bones rather than veins, which is what is needed for bone health. If D is low you don't need additional calcium. Check w/doc. Many people take 5K IUs of D3 daily. Peace and good health.
