Possible ...: ...but unlikely. Because vitiligo is rare & often doesn't appear until a person is older, the genetics are hard to understand. Roughly 30% of people with vitiligo have an affected family member. However, only 5-7% of children with one or two affected parents will develop it. There is additional data to suggest vitiligo is immunity related. Strength/weakness of the immune system is often inherited

May be: Vitiligo may be hereditary ,about 5-7% children get vitiligo if a parent has it . Thirty percent people with vitiligo have positive family history .The chance of your children getting vitiligo is low and also not every child gets it .

Vitiligo: The tendency to autoimmune diseases is inherited, rather than the specific condition itself. About 20–30% of people with vitiligo have a family history of it, so it is possible that children of an affected adult may also develop vitiligo. This is unpredictable.
