Symptoms of an ear infection include ear pain, difficulty hearing, and pressure in the affected ear.

For sinusitis it could be fever, headache, facial fullness, thick nasal congestion, cough and potentially other symptoms. For ear infection possible symptoms include fever, ear pain, vomiting, headache.
