May happen: Diet will usually lower both HDL and LDL but remember that two thirds of the cholesterol in your blood is made by the liver and therefore not affected by diet. If you want to lower LDL and increase HDL cholesterol by non pharmacological means: you need EXERCISE (both aerobic and weights) to get both good and bad going in the right direction.
