Why is my eye area swollen?

A few questions: I am guessing your eyelids are swollen (one or both). Possibiiities include infection, trauma, insect bites, allergies and other issues as well. Is the vision impaired? is the eye red? Is there pain? check with your ophthalmologist to sort this out.
