The peripheral areas of my eye has swollen up n getting darker day by day. its spreading and getting more and more painful.how to get rid of it?

Possible infection: A painful swelling that appears to be spreading could indicate a skin infection called cellulitis. If there is only a localized painful swelling in the eyelid that does not spread it may be a chalazion which typically responds to hot compresses applied to the eyelid with a washcloth for several minutes several times a day. I recommend that you see an ophthalmologist.
