Why do some people with seizures/epilepsy wear helmets all the time?

Rarely needed: Some people with a rare form of epilepsy may fall suddenly. This causes serious head injuries and a helmet is recommended. Most people with epilepsy or seizures do not have this type of seizure, and a helmet is not needed.
