Neurologist: regardless what is the cause ,seizure is an indication of a serious brain injury or disease you need to be under the care of a neurologist for proper medication and evaluation guessing for the cause, and the lack of personal ,and family history does not make it less serious or dangerous please go and see a neurologist

Neurologist: Any seizure should be evaluated by a Physician. The fact that it only happened once is positive. THC is not notorious for causing seizures. it may be used to treat some rare types of seizures- although this is controversial.

Could be: Do you always smoke organic marijuana, or do you have contact with synthetic marijuana (spice) which can cause strokes and seizures? Furthermore, might you have experienced some foreign additive. You do not list your location, but in absence of state regulations like Colorado, you could wind up with a problematic item. Discuss further with your doctor. Be cautious.
