It depends: This depends on what is causing the "non-epilepsy general seizure." seizures from alcohol withdrawal for instance, can be "cured" by going through alcohol detox and then staying away from alcohol. If a brain tumor is causing the seizure, this needs to be treated specifically. Many other things can cause seizures, and treating these causes is necessary to avoid further episodes.
