when can you get laser eye surgery?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Richard Carlin
49 years experience Ophthalmology
See laser surgeon: Multiple factors make you a good candidate for laser eye surgery... over 18 if you are nearsighted, 21 if you are farsighted or have astigmatism. Eyes of disease and vision correctable with glasses. Sould not have certain systemic diseases or be on certain medicines. Corneas should not be too step or too flat or to thin, etc. In short, you will need to see a laser eye surgeon for evaluation.
