Risky business: Vaccines are studied and approved for use at ages when they can first show effectiveness in providing benefit. The multiple ones given per session are both safe and effective.Delays only delay benefit. Since the whooping cough is most deadly to infants under 6mo, any delay just ads to risk of death.We have had 30 preventable petussis deaths in 2014 due to such delays.
