A member asked:

Can the scars be completely healed and hair grow again after a cranioplasty?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Properly done, a cranioplasty scar should be well-hidden in the hair. In fact, the hair is not usually shaved any more as that increases the infection rate, so the scar is nearly invisible from day one. Any hair loss should just be a few hairs right at the incision and they regrow within a few weeks.
