Most likely: This would depend on the nature of the cranioplasty. At this time, many of the bone flaps that are placed are made via computer modeling of a synthetic bone flap. These tend to fit very well and the abnormal head shape is likely from swelling of the overlaying skin/muscles which improves. If the cranioplasty was made from "bone cement", there may be some lumps and bumps that are seen.
