Timnitis: I assume that MVD is mitral valve disease. Anyway if you have tinnitus, you should get a hearing test to see if you have a hearing loss. This will give the ENT doctor an opportunity to talk to you about your hearing. If you have a hearing loss, it is not necessarily going to get better. At that point, you have to take steps to keep it from getting worse. These include ear plugs in loud places
