I agree: The top number or systolic blood pressure is very normal and suggests if medications were used it would drop that measurement even further and you might have symptoms such as dizziness. Unfortunately, we don't have a medication that would only affect the diastolic blood pressure (bottom number). Aggressive lifestyle approaches are indicated: ideal weight, limit alcohol & salt, daily exercise
