Need Nit Comb: Medications used to treat head lice infestation are not 100% effective. While not mandatory, removal of nits (eggs) manually using a special comb is recommended to prevent re-infestation. Nits are very small, easily mistaken for dandruff; a regular fine-toothed comb is too wide to remove them. A 2nd treatment is recommended after 10 days. Combing helps but correct use of product is very important.
