Depends: This can depend on the time out from surgery. There is some evidence that NSAIDs like advil (ibuprofen) and alive can help, and some believe early use of Ultrasound therapy can help. If it is preventing your movement and is one yr out from surgery you may want to consider consulting with the surgeon to see if surgery to remove some of the ossification is of use.
