A member asked:

My doctor said that i severely injured my hip flexor. and since therapy isn't working they said i need to have surgery. should i have surgery or not?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If hip flexors are -: severely injured, and PT hasn't helped, then surgery would be an option, definitely. MRI would be able to show which muscle is injured and the extent of the injury. U need to talk to your surgeon.
