Cold weather: Usually cold does not cause a lump sensation in the throat. The lumps are usually causes by reflux and can be managed be a lower acid diet and antireflux medications like Prilosec two Times a day before meals. It will take a few months to get rid of this. Follow the diet and you will get better ,
