Popping in knee : It is a common occurrence for people to feel and hear snapping and popping in the knee. After ACL surgery your quadricep tendon becomes very weak and when this occurs your kneecap does not track as well in the groove of your knee . This makes it easy to hyperextend the knee and get this popping to occur. This will improve as your motion and quad gets stronger. Scar tissue also contributes to this.
