Varies: There are multiple potential causes. Sometimes there can some degree of scar tissue from the injury and surgery that can break apart as the knee is taken through range of motion after surgery; it is rare, but possible, that an act graft can be torn pistoperatively; if the ace surgery is not properly done, the knee might still be unstable after surgery causing symptoms. Discuss with your surgeon.
