i am 4 weeks out from acl surgery and my knee has been popping. should i be concerned?

Post-ACL surgery: It may be scar tissue or knee maltracking related which will improve with physical therapy over time. There is also arthritis of the joint that can cause a crackling sensation in the knee. If there is no pain or instability, and there was no additional injury, it may be normal. If pain or instability occur, see Ortho right away.

ACL: Popping could be meniscal tears, acl tears or impingement, scar, synovitis. Check with your orthopedic surgeon.
