I hv a sore throat for 3 wks now, 2 wks ago i went to see the doc and she told is strep throat. i took augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) 1g for 7days, no improv. ?

Sore throat: Sore throat can have many reasons. It could be viral infection like Mono. So, if you have fatigue, low grade fever, headaches,.. you could have Mono. If you have drainage, you could have Allergies and need allergy medication.
