Med and psych eval: Sleeping too much usually doesn't cause memory problems. There could be psychological reasons for forgetting or medical reasons. So you need a good evaluation which includes a physical check up and psychological evaluation to determine why you sleep too much and why you are forgetting things

Insomnia /forgetfull: You may be sleep deprived or have sleep apnea. Without good sleep your brain suffers. You also may be going into menopause and the hormone imbalance causes these problems. See your doctor about premenopause or menopausal symptoms.
