Shower: People can shower while they have ear infections. If you have otitis externa (aka: swimmer's ear) it is advised not to swim or go below the surface of water until your treatment has been completed. Don't attempt to "wash" out your ear with water while in the shower. Discuss with your doctor who diagnosed and prescribed treatment for your ear infection what other precautions you may need to take.
