A member asked:

B/p is 170/90 is it ok to do weight training? thanks

I'd be careful.: While exercise tends to lower the blood pressure in the long term, weight training will raise the blood pressure temporarily while you're pressing and pulling the weights, and in your case your numbers may achieve dangerous levels. Treat the high blood pressure first with prudent medications.
