my mother is having mild lvh & grade 1 lv diastolic dysfunction. she dosnt have history of htn. but last wk seen 170/100.plz do reply cause & cure.

Impaired LV relaxati: Assuming you are querying about your mother, she is likely older than 75 years, and probably has had long standing hypertension....JUST HAS NOT BEEN DIAGNOSED as such until now. That she has LVH (mild thickening of LV walls), grade 1 E/A pattern on doppler, and BP of 170/100 supports the thesis of long standing hypertension as she has end organ evidence of it. Treatment for her is BP control.

Data: Sorry but things aren't as simple as you hope. Your Mom needs to see a doctor to be evaluated as to what and why things are going on as well as to treatment. Be sure you and Mom get an explanation from the Doc what is going on and what the treatment can do. CURE is not something we often accomplish.
