Get more info: May be a good time to see a sports medicine specialist, either an orthopedist of physiatrist (physical medicine specialist). You could have an injury to the hip joint or some of the structures around the joint. A specialist should be able to help you figure it out since PT hasn't helped.

Continue Stretching: exercises but I would recommend that you get seen by an orthopod to be properly evaluated and diagnosed, so treatment could be started for you. Some severe grades of a sprain ligaments or strained muscles can take a long time, even several months.
