No. Its not normal.: U would need a detailed examination and scans to ascertain the cause of your symptoms. Have you been seen by an orthopod or a Hand surgeon? The cause might be a nerve injury or Reflex Sympathetic dystrophy (also called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome), which some people are prone to develop after an injury or surgery. Once Diagnosed a Neurologist would be able to help. Good Luck.
