Culture: if ur ua is abnormal- LE is + ve, do urine culture and take antibiotics accordingly.

Recurrent UTI: U/A, urine positive? Did bacteria grow? Have seen mildly positive U/A, but no growth in vaginitis with mycoplasma/ureoplasma, BV or yeast ( even without discharge). Treated with Zithromax 250 mg x4 on day 1 ,Flagyl starting day 2 and Diflucan (fluconazole) last day with good response. Would also check for HCG, PID,stones,interstitial cystitis,ovarian pathology,diverticulitis. F/U w/ doc/urgent care
