No stone unturned: If you haven't had an ivp-intravenous pyleogram or an imaging of your kidneys i would suggest you do that. You may have a stone in the pelvis of the kidney that reacts with your hydration status. At any rate check with a urologist or nephrologist if you are continuing with, what you feel is, the wrong diagnosis.
