What medication is best for crps? my doctor isn't familiar with the disease and has me taking hyrdrocone-apap. but im still in tremendous pain

Get another opinion: CRPS needs to be treated by a doc who is familiar with it. Treatment involves anticonvulsants, antidepressants physical therapy and possible sympathetic blocks. You will notice that pain mess were not mentioned. They may have a small role - however it certainly is not the cornerstone of treatment.

CRPS management: Various pharmacological agents to block the release of NE from presynaptic sympathetic neurons. Management of CRPS also may involve a series of sympathetic blocks or intravenous infusion with phentolamine. See an Interventional pain management specialist.
