My sed rate is 56, doctor doesnt know why. my crp is 2.4. i recently gave birth and am still considered obese and have ibs and also my kidney numbers were high. could this be normal or is it more likely i have something serious going on?

Even with more detailed information, this still is too complex for a forum like this and requires in-person evaluation. There is an apparent discrepancy between ESR and CRP. I don't know if normal pregnancy and delivery might have such effects. Irritable bowel syndrome doesn't raise ESR, but inflammatory bowel disease does and can cause symptoms like IBS. Keep working w/ your doctor(s). Good luck.

You do have something serious going on ; obesity and IBS, these are inflammatory illnesses. You definitely deserve a trial of an anti-inflammatory diet-no dairy, no grains and no sugar
