A member asked:

Should i use clexane injections when pregnant if i have factor vii heterozygote gene mutation ? when to start? now 5 weeks

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unclear question: I wonder if you mean factor V (Leiden) mutation which can result in clotting and is common? Factor VII mutation is exceedingly rare and carries a risk of bleeding with surgery or trauma. (Completely the opposite of Factor V). I am not familiar with clexane. Perhaps you live in Europe or elsewhere.
