MTHFR Pregnancy: Women who test positive for an MTHFR mutation may have an increased risk of preeclampsia, blood clots, recurrent miscarriages, or giving birth to a baby with congenital disabilities. Managing your homocysteine levels during pregnancy will be more difficult. You should consult with your regular Dr and your OB dr regarding med management during this high risk pregnancy.
