Not indicated: Rabies is generally transmitted by the bite (not scratch) of an infected animal. Theoretically, the cat claws could have been contaminated by rabid saliva, although this is unlikely. Unless the cat in question has been confirmed as rabid, further vaccination is likely unwarranted.
