No: No. An M.R.I. can be helpful in diagnosis of MS, but it is not a test that if negative rules it out, particularly early. The history and physical and observation with some other tests can help.

Clarification: If the brain MRI is normal and a spinal MRI also normal, you do NOT have MS. You do not list your symptoms, so I cannot advise further. However, we can enlarge on your challenges with more information.
