No: no cold air does not get trapped but cold air could heart lung tissues and cause bronchitis and pneumonia and cold air can affect the ribs and cause inflammation in the cartilage part and or a muscle spasm in the muscle between that cause a lot of pain if you become SOB short of breath go to the ER or see a doctor
