Clotting studies: There is a battery of tests that can tell if you are deficient in certain clotting factors than can cause easy bruising, but some people who have been tested extensively and found to have no cutting problems still bruise easily! If you want to know if you have a cutting disorder, which is good to know if you ever need surgery, ask your regular doctor to have yourself tested
