Foods & Supplements: Plenty of sites list iron-rich foods. Some also say which are easiest for your body to make use of. Iron supplement pills are also available and some processed foods advertise that they are iron fortified. If you want to, it should be easy to increase your levels unless there is something else wrong. Don't worry - it's not likely, but if you really try and fail - ask your doctor for ideas.

The later two cause occult bleeding and should be tested for fecal occult blood test at least three different days. Pregnancy and taking contraceptive pills? Also-know lab tibc, % saturation, ferritin, hemoglobin, hematocrit then your doctor can decide if you need iron tablets.Use food rich with iron.Thank.
