Braces or Invisalign: There are several options that don't use full scale braces (brackets, wires,) like Invisalign, but each case may dictate what works best. Sometimes, teeth can be cosmetically straightened with bonding and/or crowns and veneers. Need a consult and get several options.

Orthodontics: Although Invisalign can straighten teeth, for the most part, in many malocclusions, it cannot come close to the control and types of movements offered by traditional brackets and wires. Speak to your orthodontist... there's pros and cons to both methods.

See an orthodontist: You want to choose the treatment that will do the job right. In the long run, you don’t want to have to fix your teeth again. See a board certified orthodontist that uses both methods to straighten teeth.

Your choice: Traditional braces are cheaper, faster and more effective. So why do people choose invisalign? Aesthetics.

Braces: Baraces and clear aligners are not equivalent treatment modalities. Braces are still the gold standard, although many positive steps can be taken with aligners. The most important thing is to find a fully qualified Orthodontist who can evaluate your malocclusion and give you advice based on cutting edge training and experience.
