Probably not: But you do need to see a dentist to evaluate the problems you are having with your TMJ. Failure to treat can result in permanent damage and extended periods of pain.

TMJ: Not likely. By far most common diagnosis is TMJ. See TMJ expert. Any dentist can be a TMJ expert with the proper training and experience. Most commonly, oral surgeons, prosthodontists, and orofacial pain specialists. Ask your MD, your dentist and your dental society for referrals.
