Lung Nodules: are very common and fortunately most of the time are benign. Many people actually have these and are unaware. There are certain characteristics of nodules such as size and appearance that may sometimes be more worrisome. Also, a history of cigarette smoking may be a cause for concern. 6 months is a standard screening period for lung nodules.
