Not a good idea: Sepsis implies a bacterial infection in the blood stream that is causing systemic symptoms such as vomiting, dizziness, drop in blood pressure. This is very serious. An oral antibiotic and especially one like amoxicillin is unlikely to take care of this and this condition can be life threatening and needs immediate attention. Head to the closest ED right away, do not wait.
