PT: I would consult a physical therapist or sports trainer to get strengthening exercises for the legs, ankles and feet. Do you wear good supportive footwear? At home the best exercise is usually balance. Start by balancing just on the floor on one foot at a time. Later when you have gotten stronger you can get a balance ball / platform gizmo (I forgot the name of it) to make it more challenging.
