Yes and no: Facebook can be as bad, but it's more of a sin of commission than before. With facebook, you can filter who knows your information or can post on your page, but once somebody is a friend, they have access to everything, including information about your friends. Children can give too much personal information to people who shouldn't have it. More dangerous as teens don't recognize it.
