Hard to say: If you have a severe flatfoot or pes planus problem, you may need custom orthotics. If you already have them, you might need different shoes which may also help.

Plantar fasciitis?: Plantar fasciitis, or an arch ligament strain is a very common reason for arch and heel pain in the boot of the heel. While good supportive shoes and supports are a cornerstone of treatment, anti-inflammatories, steroid injections, physical therapy (including stretching) may be necessary. Prescription foot orthoses may work better than over the counter arch supports. See a podiatrist.
