Probably: No trauma to site? You need to get this evaluated immediately. You might need medication depending on what is causing it. What is concerning is that it seems like the lesion involves multiple layers - oral/buccal mucosa, gums, subcutaneous tissue. You need to make sure it is not progressing.

Probably: But may be coincidental. You should see your Dentist to assure that 1) symptoms are actually related to the lesion, and 2) that the lesion is benign and self limiting. Once diagnosed, Dentist can apply or prescribe treatment to help you heal and feel better. Call your Dentist now.
