PCP: See your PCP first. He or she may be able to diagnose it or treat it. If this is not the case you will need a dermatologist referral.

Family Doctor: For lumps in the back of head you should consult your family doctor first.Lumps in the back of head can be due to many causes and most Internists or Family Physicians can handle this and if they feel a referral to a specialist is needed after examining it and ordering tests or imaging.You will be referred. ENT doctors do not handle lumps in the back of head
